He Was Cleaning the Windows of the Restaurant

Have you ever met someone you liked immediately?

I had parked my VW Rabbit Caddy under the large neon sign and was taking pictures when Luis Ortiz came out to greet me. He was cleaning the windows of the restaurant and took a break to chat for a bit.

We talked about cars, Santa Rosa, kids, and whatever came up. I won’t share the details, but Luis is a great dad and has raised two boys on his own, against some pretty steep odds.

He’s good people.
